With over a decade of making and managing real estate investments, Chris now leads the Investment Management team at Clay Residential. This includes oversight of all third-party managers, development of leasing and marketing strategy, and management of cash flow and budgets. Additionally, he is responsible for sourcing and underwriting new development and acquisition opportunities, managing project financing, and executing dispositions.

Chris comes to Clay Residential via BlackRock, where he was primarily responsible for acquisitions and dispositions in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions of the United States. Additional responsibilities included supporting the portfolio management team responsible for managing over $2 billion in real estate separate account mandates. These funds were invested across the risk spectrum, from ground up developments to stabilized core properties, in the US, Europe, and APAC.
