With 50 years in homebuilding, land development, and real estate, Joe brings a wealth of wisdom, experience, and expertise to Clay Residential.
Joe began his career with US Home Corporation (later acquired by Lennar) in Houston, Texas. During his 33 year tenure, he worked his way from Project Manager to Regional President.
In a ten-year span as Regional President, Joe oversaw 16 divisions in 11 states and was instrumental in growing home deliveries in his territories from 2,000 to over 5,000.
Additional experience includes managing a 300,000+ square foot modular manufacturing facility and creating and managing a Special Projects Division to acquire raw land and develop, construct, and sell hotel and apartment projects.
Since retiring from US Home/Lennar, Joe has worked extensively in homebuilding consulting, mergers and acquisitions, and land development. He also founded a company specializing in homebuilder transactions and land investment.
I believe positive resident experiences can ultimately have a positive impact on investment performance. By building premium rental communities in desirable locations, we’re able to demonstrate this mutually beneficial relationship while striving to find new ways to further enhance the experiences of both our residents and investors.
